Ramaiah Innovation and Incubation Centre:
Ramaiah Institute of Management supports startups through its Innovation and Incubation Centre. It enables creation of entrepreneurs who create and deliver value. The centre nurtures ideas, mentors them to develop feasible business proposals, provides funding and enables commercialization.
An entrepreneurship culture is developed through the courses offered to the students in collaboration with National Entrepreneurship Network. Entrepreneurship Specialization is also offered to aspiring entrepreneurs.
Startups are given physical infrastructure, Wi-fi support, Library services, Meeting room etc.
Faculty mentoring is provided with respect to the following:
- Feasibility Studies
- Development of Business Plan and strategy
- Market Research
- Technology mentoring
- Product development mentoring
- IPR development support
The Centre is supported by Ramaiah Evolute the first cross disciplinary start-up ecosystem in India. Ramaiah Evolute aims to harness synergies of tech savvy, gen next and talented students across Ramaiah Group (https://www.ramaiah-evolute.com/)
Ramaiah Innovation and Incubation Centre at RIM provides a seed fund of Rs. 2500000 for minimum of five start-ups. The Centre is active for the last several years. The following companies have been incubated since 2014.
